This year's first eight months have seen a decline in passenger figures by Ukrainian airlines by 14.8 percent, y-o-y, with domestic passenger figures down a hefty 39.9 percent, y-o-y.
In August 2014 alone, the decline in passenger volumes was 27.1 percent, y-o-y, including a drop by 23.6 percent in international charter volumes and a decline by 22 percent in international traffic.
Overall, Ukraine's airports saw their passenger volumes down by 23.2 percent, y-o-y, to 7,625,000 in January-August 2014, while the decline in August alone was 38.4 percent to 1,149,000.
