Sep 05, 2014 (newstodate): Now fully independent from the Polish carrier LOT, LOT Aircraft Maintenance Service, LOT AMS is poised for expansion.
The company has been designated as the only authorized MRO service center for Embraer ERJ135, ERJ145, E170 and E190 in Central and Eastern Europe. Other aircraft types served by the company include Boeing 767 and Boeing 737 aircraft.
LOT AMT is also setting up line service stations at Polish airport, and has established a line service station at Vilnius, in Lithuania.
After fully implementing the restructuring of LOT AMS, work will start on achieving certification to provide MRO services also on aircraft types including Airbus A320, Bombardier Q400 and Boeing 787 aircraft.
LOT AMS was established as a separate company on July 13, 2010.
