Sep 30, 2014 (newstodate): The parties behind the project for setting up flights with a Chinese carrier between China and Croatia have now formalized their cooperation in the form of a LoI.
But instead of making Zagreb the point of entry into the Balkans, the parties have agreed to designate Croatia's Zadar Airport to be connected with Chongqing for direct, non-stop flights by a yet-unnamed Chinese carrier.
Croatia's Chinese Southeast Europe Business Association and the Chinese delegation presently visiting Croatia will now work out the details prior to launch of services from late 2014, with flight every 10 days, as well as select the carrier to perform the operation.
