Sep 10, 2014 (newstodate): Georgia's new airline, Flyvista is shortly to take delivery of its second aircraft.
The first Airbus A320 aircraft was delivered to Flyvista on July 10, 2014, introduced on the carrier's first route between Tbilisi and Tehran, in Iran, from August 14, 2014, and later operated also on the route between Tbilisi and Kiev, in Ukraine, from August 28, 2014, offering three weekly rotations.
The second Airbus A320 aircraft is to be delivered within only a few days.
Flyvista, managed by Gregory Pomerantsev as CEO, has been set up with the UAE-based aircraft leasing, charter and management solutions provider Aerovista.
Mr Pomerantsev was earlier serving with the Latvian carrier airBaltic as Senior VP Sales & Marketing.
