Sep 08, 2014 (newstodate): Slovenia's Ljubljana Joze Pucnik Airport has found a new owner after a tender process for privatization of the formerly state-owned airport.
Emerging as the winner in the closed tender process is the German airport group Fraport that is now to take 75.5 percent of the shares in the airport company, with aims to acquire also the remaining stake.
The airport has seen growth in 2013, where passenger volumes were up 10 percent, y-o-y, to 1.3 mio, while cargo also gained four percent in volumes, to 17,770 tonnes in 2013.
