Sep 26, 2014 (newstodate): The Swedish IATA export cargo market retracted further in August 2014.
IATA carriers sold a total of 7,289 tonnes of cargo in August 2014, a decline by 12.59 percent, y-o-y.
Both down on August 2013, SAS and KLM topped the list with 1,202 and 951 tonnes but after falling 16.97 and 20.08 percent, respectively.
#3 was Emirates that took the opposite direction with a growth by 50.58 percent to 721 tonnes, followed by Finnair that dropped 6.99 percent, y-o-y, to 591 tonnes.
Lufthansa Cargo followed the negative trend with a drop by 27.91 percent to 537 tonnes, while #6 was Thai Cargo with 395 tonnes, up 14.97 percent.
#8, Air China was down the most, with minus 39.40 percent to 324 tonnes, while top-runner was #9, Korean Air Lines with an increase by 66.42 percent to 303 tonnes.
Singapore Airlines barely made it to finish the top-10 list with a drop by 21.47 percent to 293 tonnes.
