Aug 25, 2014 (newstodate): A delegation from Russia's civil aviation authority has performed a preliminary inspection of a new cargo terminal under construction at Belgorod International Airport.
The project involves the building of a new 1,000 sq m cargo terminal designed to the handling of 2.3 tonnes of cargo per day as well as storage of up to six tonnes of cargo at the warehouse.
The final commissioning of the new cargo terminal is slated for November 2014.
No western airlines are currently serving the airport constructed in 1954.
