Aug 12, 2014 (newstodate): Amidst much uncertainty about Russia's current economic course, one Gulf carrier is investing freighter capacity in a new route to Moscow.
Starting from August 13, 2014, Etihad Cargo will launch flights between Abu Dhabi and Moscow Domodedovo Airport, using an Airbus A330-200F freighter aircraft offering 64 tonnes of uplift capacity on two weekly rotations.
Etihad Cargo now provides services to 108 destinations internationally, operating a fleet of ten freighters including four Airbus A330-200F, three Boeing B777F, and three Boeing 747F.
