Aug 12, 2014 (newstodate): Due to a temporary shortage of Boeing 787-8 aircraft capacity, Qatar Airways will temporarily wind down frequencies on four European routes through September 2014.
Thus, the frequencies of flights on routes from Doha to Copenhagen, Stockholm and Oslo will be reduced by one weekly rotation in September as well as the number of rotations from Doha to Brussels.
All four routes will thus be served with six weekly flights instead of daily services as of now.
Qatar Airways first entered Scandinavia with a route between Doha and Stockholm, Sweden, launched on November 27, 2007, adding a route between Doha and Copenhagen, Denmark, from March 30, 2010, and between Doha and Oslo from October 5, 2011.
Qatar Airways has placed orders for a total of 30 Boeing 787-8 aircraft, 14 of which have so far been delivered.
