Aug 04, 2014 (newstodate): One Gulfstream III operated by the Royal Danish Air Force until 2005 has been turned into a state-of-the-art air ambulance.
The aircraft operated with the designation F-313 by the RDAF was acquired by the US military air support provider Phoenix Air and is now equipped to carry Ebola-infected US citizens back the the USA for treatment.
For flights with with highly contagious Ebola patients, the aircraft will be equipped with a modular Aeromedical Biological Containment System, a plastic structure providing negative air pressure to keep pathogens from entering the cabin.
