Aug 11, 2014 (newstodate): Finnish airfreight forwarders dealing with Finnair Cargo will turn to e-AWBs as from August 14, 2014.
Finnair Cargo has earlier stated the target for 2014 to be attaining 20 percent as the proportion of e-AWBs, admitting however that this is not exactly an easy task to fulfill.
The company has been conducting a major campaign in 2014 to provide a new boost to e-freight and e-AWBs that are prime targets for IATA as well.
Driving the e-freight processes at Finnair Cargo is Petteri Helen, Finnair Cargo Manager E-solutions, Global Mail and Commercial Partners.
