Aug 20, 2014 (newstodate): A new restructuring plan for Estonian Air has reportedly been approved by the Council, forwarded to the Ministry of Economic Affairs and Communications for onward filing with the EU Competition authority.
According to Estonian media, the plan looks further ahead compared to the existing plan, presuming a sustained existence of the carrier that now expects be profitable in 2016 against the earlier target at 2014.
While the plan has not yet been fully published, expectations are that it will include visions for opening of new routes as well as a strategic partnership with another airline.
