Aug 19, 2014 (newstodate): The Danish ACMI and capacity provider Jet Time is soon to take delivery of its fourth all-cargo aircraft.
In September 2014, the Boeing 737-400F aircraft will join the carrier's freighter fleet already comprising two Boeing 737-400F as well as one Boeing 737-300F freighter, all known to be operating on an ACMI contract with TNT out of Liege
It the fleet of Jet Time is also now one Boeing 737-300QC aircraft while a second Boeing 737-300QC was handed back in June to the leasing company after the expiry of its contract period.
-For the time being, we intend to keep the QC aircraft that has been operating for Mistral Air this summer, carrying mail during the night and passengers during the day time, says Klaus Ren, Jet Time President/CEO.
-Earlier in 2014 we operated on a similar contract in the UK, and there is definitely a role for it to play in the cargo segment. In addition, it serves as a useful back-up capacity for our passenger aircraft fleet, says Mr Ren.
Jet Time took delivery of its first Boeing 737-300QC aircraft in March 2010, while the first all-cargo Boeing 737-400F joined the fleet in mid-October 2013.
