Jul 03, 2014 (newstodate): The Ukrainian carrier YanAir continues to build up its aircraft fleet.
Already operating two SAAB 340 and three Airbus A320 aircraft, the airline has now also taken delivery of its first Boeing 737, to be stationed at its second base to be opened at Zhytomyr, in the northern part of Western Ukraine.
Plans are to start flights from Zhytomyr by autumn 2014.
The carrier, based at Kiev, performed its first flight on August 28, 2013 and operates domestic flights in Ukraine from Kiev.
