Jul 28, 2014 (newstodate): Five out of the Top-10 IATA carriers in Sweden lost volumes in June 2014 while the market over-all dipped by 4.95 percent, y-o-y, to 7,726 tonnes.
Topping the list was SAS with 1,132 tonnes, down 13.49 percent, followed by KLM Cargo, also down 14.34 percent to 830 tonnes, and Lufthansa Cargo with 750 tonnes, down 14.91 percent, y-o-y.
#4, Emirates broke the negative circle by increasing its volumes by 16.08 percent in June to 619 tonnes, while #5, Finnair Cargo was also down 12.46 percent to 593 tonnes.
On the positive side were #6, Thai, up 15.84 percent to 433 tonnes, followed by Qatar, up 14.29 percent to 344 tonnes, BAWC with 329 tonnes, up 17 percent, and the top-running Cargolux that was up 80.17 percent to 316 tonnes.
Closing the Top-10 list in June was SIA Cargo, down 26.96 percent to a mere 285 tonnes and thus showing the biggest decrease in volumes in June 2014.
