Jul 30. 2014 (newstodate): KLM Cargo managed to snatch the #1 position on Norway's CASS statistics for June 2014.
Counting export cargo, KLM Cargo generated 1,829 tonnes of cargo in the Norwegian market, growing 90.63 percent, y-o-y, and holding 16.87 percent of the market.
Second was Qatar Airways with 1,570 tonnes, down 0.21 percent, followed by Finnair with 1,200 tonnes and up 9.67 percent.
#4, Korean Air Lines took 862 tonnes, up 5.38 percent, followed by Emirates, 673 tonnes but down 19.61 percent.
#6, Asiana Cargo accounted for 647 tonnes, #7 was SIA Cargo with 572 tonnes and up 28.41 percent, followed by Thai, 570 tonnes and up 13,21 percent, and SAS with 522 tonnes and down 18.40 percent.
Closing the Top-10 list in Norway was Cathay Pacific with 406 tonnes after increasing 229.44 percent from a low base.
In total, IATA carrier lifted 10,838 tonnes of export cargo out of Norway on trucks and aircraft - an increase by 15.06 percent, y-o-y.
