Jul 02, 2014 (newstodate): The new Lithuanian charter carrier KlasJet, based at Vilnius Airport, is in the air.
Having obtained its AOC in late June, 2014, the carrier has now operated its first commercial VIP flight to a Mediterranean resort.
In the fleet of the carrier, with Vitalij Kapitonov as CEO, are currently one Bombardier CRJ200 and one Challenger 850 with a unique livery and customized with an exclusive interior.
Longer-term plans are to build a fleet comprising up to 10 corporate jets, including Embraer Legacy and Hawker aircraft.
KlasJet is part of the Lithuanian Avia Solutions Group.
