Jul 02, 2014 (newstodate): Poland is one small East European market seeing positive growth in air cargo volumes.
In May 2014, IATA carriers aggregated a total of 1,936 tonnes of export air cargo in Poland, an increase by 8.27 percent, y-o-y.
Topping the list in May with a market share at 25.8 percent was LOT with 499 tonnes, up 30.18 percent, y-o-y.
Second was Lufthansa Cargo with 356 tonnes, down 22.3 percent, followed by #3, Emirates, up 10.12 percent to 234 tonnes, and #4, KLM Cargo, up 27.39 percent to 199 tonnes.
#5, Turkish Airlines grew its volumes by 34.98 percent to 96 tonnes, while #6, SAS Cargo fell back by 42.13 percent to 93 tonnes.
