Jul 02, 2014 (newstodate): Denmark's Billund Airport reports a modest increase by only 0.7 percent in cargo volumes in June 2014.
Adding only 37 tonnes, the total figure landed at 5,323 tonnes comprising 2,013 tonnes of imports, down 7.5 percent, and 3,310 tonnes of exports, up 6.4 percent, y-o-y.
During the half-year 2014, the airport has thus handled a total of 30,265 tonnes of cargo, which is down 1.2 percent, compared to last year.
Imports were down 11.3 percent to 11,740 tonnes, while export fared better with an increase by 6.4 percent, to a total of 18,525 tonnes during H1, 2014, compared to last year.
