Jun 04, 2014 (newstodate): During the 12-month period May 2013-April 2014, three forwarding companies accounted for about half, or 51.2 percent, of Sweden's IATA export airfreight.
However only #3, Schenker AB managed to grow its volumes, up 38.61 percent, y-o-y, to 8,721 tonnes, while #1, DHL Global Forwarding saw volumes down by 10.29 percent to 24,525 tonnes and #2, Geodis Wilson dipped 8.87 percent to 20,752 tonnes during the period.
Rising the most was #7, UPS SCS Sweden with 3,667 tonnes and up 76.35 percent, while #4, Kuehne & Nagel fell the steepest, with 7,930 tonnes and down 12.25 percent, y-o-y.
In total, Sweden's IATA forwarders generated 105,138 tonnes of export airfreight during the period, up 3.9 percent, y-o-y.
