Jun 27, 2014 (newstodate): Sweden will have to wait to see the arrival of the new carrier Air Croatia.
Set up by Swedish tour operators, the virtual carrier planned lease an aircraft from Dutch carrier Denim Air to launch flights to Croatian tourist destinations from Stockholm and Gothenburg starting from June 2014.
Plans were to offer two weekly flights from Gothenburg to Split and one flight per week to Dubrovnik, Pula and Zagreb.
From Stockholm the airline would operate flights to Zadar and Split.
But with the first flight scheduled for June 28, 2014, the carrier has surprised the market by postponing the start of services till Summer 2015 citing an array of technical reasons as reported by regional media!
