Jun 26, 2014 (newstodate): On a 12-month basis, Shanghai is still the #1 destination for IATA export cargo from Sweden - but trends are turning..
In June 2013-My 2014, Shanghai reigned supreme with 9,247 tonnes of cargo from Sweden on IATA carriers, comfortably ahead of #2, New York with 7,285 tonnes.
Shanghai was, however, down by 7.28 percent, y-o-y, while New York was up by 78.38 percent.
This trend was again demonstrated in figures on May 2014, where Shanghai was still #1 with 585 tonnes, while New York was trailing closely behind with 570 tonnes.
And again, ex-Sweden cargo for Shanghai were down by 36.67 percent, y-o-y, while volumes for New York were up by 33.42 percent.
