Jun 18, 2014 (newstodate): Aviator Finland have signed a three year contract with SAS, taking effect from June 1, 2014.
Operated by Blue1 using Boeing 717 aircraft, SAS is currently offering some 5,500 flights per year in Finland including regular flights from Helsinki to Stockholm, Copenhagen, and Oslo as well as charter flights during summer seasons.
As the EU Commission approved Aviator's acquisition of the former Servisair Ground Handling operation at Helsinki Airport in Finland, Aviator re-branded the company - parked under the name of Helsinki Handling NewCo Oy - as Aviator Finland staffed by some 300 employees offering a full handling package including passenger, ramp and de-icing services, as well as cargo ramp handling.
