Jun 10, 2014 (newstodate): Lufthansa Cargo holds a strong position in many Central European countries - but dropped in volumes in April 2014.
In Hungary, the company was #1 among the top-10 IATA export cargo carriers, with 29.54 in market share, translating into 610 tonnes in April 2014.
This was, however, a drop by 20.03 percent, y-o-y, while the market was over-all down 6.12 percent.
In the Czech Republic where the market was up 1.41 percent in April, Lufthansa Cargo was ranked #3 with 373 tonnes, down 11.24 percent, y-o-y, and holding 19.08 percent of the market.
In Poland, #2 Lufthansa Cargo was also down 22.71 percent to 343 tonnes with 18.35 percent of the market that grew 6.43 percent.
In Romania, Lufthansa Cargo topped the list with 213 tonnes, down 7.07 percent and 44.98 percent of the total market that dropped 6.17 percent in April 2014.
