Jun 10, 2014 (newstodate): All snags blocking the launch of flights by Greenland Express now seems to have been removed - at least as far as licenses and permits by aviation authorities are concerned.
On June 6, 2014, newstodate quoted Denim Air's CEO, Ronald Janssen as confirming that the Dutch CAA had eventually added the Fokker 100 dedicated to serving Greenland Express to the carrier's AOC, which would leave the issue with the Danish CAA, Trafikstyrelsen.
In an email to newstodate on the same day, Trafikstyrelsen next confirmed that it had approved the aircraft for Transatlantic flights by Greenland Express already on June 3, 2014.
This should make June 17, 2014, a viable date for the long-delayed start of services by Greenland Express between Denmark, Iceland and Greenland.
