Jun 04, 2014 (newstodate): Following on the sustained problems experienced by the new Greenlandic carrier in getting clearance for launch of services, the main driver behind the project is now airing plans to pull out from Greenland Express.
-Health problems over a long period have been further aggravated by the impact from massive negative press coverage, forcing me to heed the warnings from my doctor and seek a way out of this venture, says Gert Brask.
-I am still heading the company but my energy will now be directed towards finding a successor to take over my position at Greenland Express.
-In the meantime, work is still stalled while we wait for the Dutch CAA to finally add the Fokker 100 aircraft to Denim Air's AOC, which will supposedly happen next week, allowing us to start up services from June 17, 2014, says Mr Brask.
The aircraft is now in Aalborg since June 2, awaiting the Dutch and Danish authorities' approvals.
