Jun 30, 2014 (newstodate): Starting from July 1, 2014, all three international airport of Lithuania will be consolidated within one single juridical entity, State Enterprise Lithuanian Airports.
The airport of Vilnius, Kaunas and Palanga will thus have one common CEO, Gediminas Almantas who is currently Managing Director of Vilnius International Airport.
Each of the three airports under the new entity will thus be named branch airports of the State Enterprise Lithuanian Airports, but intentions are to let loose each airport to develop its full potential under a joint management and developing its business plans according to local and concrete preconditions and assets.
