Jun 12, 2014 (newstodate): Croatia's first low-cost carrier Dalmatian is readying for launch flights on June 30, 2014.
The new carrier will start out with flights from Zagreb to Stuttgart, in Germany, next adding routes to Hamburg, Rome, Milan, Prague, Warsaw, Sofia, Stuttgart, Geneva, Dusseldorf, Zurich and Larnaca, with flights to Vienna further down the line.
The airline with HQs at Zagreb will thus start up with scheduled flights using Airbus A320 aircraft within Europe and later adding flights to destinations in the CIS markets, but the ambitious business plans also comprise the launch of long-haul flights with wide-body aircraft from Croatia to the USA from 2015.
