Jun 25, 2014 (newstodate): It is over even before it really got started: Croatia's first low-cost carrier has announced its close-down after one investor left the project.
The carrier was scheduled to perform its first flight on June 30, 2014, as the start of a plan to offer services from Zagreb to 11 destinations including Stuttgart, Hamburg, Rome, Milan, Prague, Warsaw, Sofia, Stuttgart, Geneva, Dusseldorf, Zurich and Larnaca, with flights to Vienna further down the line.
Further down the line, ambitions were also to launch long-haul flights with wide-body aircraft from Croatia to the USA from 2015.
