Jun 10, 2014 (newstodate): In April 2014, Norway again outperformed the four other Nordic markets as to volumes of IATA export airfreight.
In a market that grew by 26.28 percent, y-o-y, to 10,268 tonnes, KLM Cargo took the lead with 1,790 tonnes - an increase by no less than 79.27 percent, y-o-y.
Second came Qatar Airways with 1,267 tonnes, but down 27.68 percent, followed by Finnair, 1,249 tonnes and up 38.18 percent.
#4 was Korean Air Cargo with 1,039 tonnes, up 21.57 percent, followed by Asiana, new on CASS Nordic since February 2014, with 797 tonnes.
Both SAS Cargo and Singapore Airlines Cargo were down in volumes in April 2014, SAS Cargo dropping 27.32 percent to 411 tonnes, and Singapore Airlines Cargo down 9.59 percent to 388 tonnes placing them #8 and #10, respectively.
Another large carrier, Lufthansa Cargo dropped out from the list in April 2014.
