Jun 11, 2014 (newstodate): In April 2014, IATA carriers saw growth in cargo volumes in only one of four Nordic markets.
Norway was again in the lead with a rise by 26.28 percent, y-o-y, in volumes, to 10,268 tonnes, also boosted by the inclusion from February 2014 of Asiana Cargo in the IATA statistics.
In Norway, KLM Cargo was ranked #1 with 1,790 tonnes of cargo, up 79.27 percent, y-o-y.
In Sweden, the IATA export cargo market was down 12.3 percent, to 7,533 tonnes, with SAS Cargo in the lead with 991 tonnes, but down 22.07 percent.
In Denmark, export cargo volumes on IATA carriers dropped 6.17 percent to 5,577 tonnes, with SAS Cargo ranked #1 with 1,049 tonnes, but down 2.35 percent.
In Finland the market shrank by 12,89 percent to 3,254 tonnes, with Finnair at the top with 1,206 tonnes but also down 16.63 percent, y-o-y.
