May 1, 2014 (newstodate): Cargo volumes are rising fast at Poland's largest airport, Warsaw Chopin Airport in 2014.
In the first three months of this year, a total of 14,300 tonnes was handled at the airport - an increase by 27.5 percent, y-o-y.
International cargo increased by nearly 28 percent to 14,100 tonnes, while domestic freight was only 164 tonnes.
Imports continued to exceed exports, with 8,100 tonnes and 6,000 tonnes respectively.
Air mail was slightly down by 0.4 percent, y-o-y, to 3,800 tonnes during Q1.
