May 07, 2014 (newstodate): Turkish Airlines is building up its presence in the Russian market with new destinations.
Only in 2014, two new destinations have been added, with flights from Istanbul to Astrakhan starting from April 2, and to Stavropol from April 21.
With these additions to the network, Turkish Airlines is now operating flights from Istanbul to 11 destinations in Russia, including Moscow as the first from 1989, St Petersburg, Rostov-on-Don, Yekaterinburg, Kazan, Antalya, Ufa, Sochi and Novosibirsk.
