May 30, 2014 (newstodate): Now flying in its fifth season, the Slovakian charter carrier and ACMI provider Air Explore has developed into a well-consolidated company.
On May 29, 2014, the carrier took delivery of a new Boeing 737-400 aircraft, operating four aircraft as before after re-delivering one Boeing 737-300 aircraft to its owner.
-Two of four Boeing 737-400 aircraft are operating with Ryanair during the summer season, one is flying for Tunisair, and the new aircraft will start its life with Air Explore on a contract with Meridiana in Italy. So all aircraft are on solid contracts during this summer season, says Martin Stulajter, Air Explore CEO.
-We are already planning for the winter season, and we will take delivery of our first Boeing 737-800 aircraft by October 2014. This will further enhance our capabilities and we are eager to see which new opportunities this will open up for us, says Mr Stulajter.
Based at Bratislava, Air Explore received its AOC on May 31, 2010, and launched flights with its first aircraft in June 2010.
