May 19, 2014 (newstodate): The Polish charter carrier Enter Air has seen demand for capacity growing in the upcoming summer season.
As a result, the carrier has signed an ACMI contract with the Latvian capacity provider SmartLynx for one Airbus A320 aircraft.
The aircraft will be placed at Warsaw Airport for flights to leisure destinations during the summer period.
Enter Air already operates a fleet comprising eight Boeing 737-400 and five Boeing 737-800 aircraft stationed at its four operational bases at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, Katowice International Airport and Poznan Airport.
Set up in 2010 and based at Warsaw Frederic Chopin Airport, Enter Air will eventually continue to build its future on the Boeing 737-800NG aircraft, with the Boeing 737-400 aircraft serving as back-up capacity until being finally phased out of service.
The airline is preparing to take delivery shortly of its sixth Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
