May 02, 2014 (newstodate): Easter 2014 made an impact on the cargo volumes through Denmark's Billund Airport in April.
A total of 5,292 tonnes of cargo was handled at the airport, a drop by 4.7 percent, y-o-y.
Imports declined by 5.7 percent to 2,319 tonnes, while exports also dropped by 3.9 percent to 2,973 tonnes.
Q1 2014 thus landed at 19,787 tonnes, down slightly by 0.3 percent, including 7,778 tonnes of imports that were down 11.3 percent, y-o-y, while exports fared better with an increase at 8.4 percent, to a total of 12,009 tonnes.
