May 20, 2014 (newstodate): The new scheduled carrier Fly Romania is now in the air.
Performing its first commercial flight on May 15, 2014, Fly Romania is now offering flights between Bucharest Otopeni to Tulcea with an MD-82 aircraft operated by its parent company, the Romanian charter company Ten Airways.
The first route opening was followed on May 16, 2014, by first flights to Milan, Verona, Frankfurt Hahn and Genoa, and plans are to add flights also to Antalya and Barcelona from June 2014.
In the fleet now is also one MD-83 aircraft.
