May 14, 2014 (newstodate): The new Greenlandic carrier under formation, Greenland Express will be offering aircraft capacity in the ad-hoc and charter market from the start.
With its first flight between destinations in Denmark, Greenland and Iceland scheduled for June 2, 2014, Greenland Express will be operating a Fokker 100 aircraft on an ACMI contract with the Dutch provider Denim Air.
Under the contract, Denim Air will also place a second Fokker 100 aircraft at the disposal of Greenland Express as a back-up capacity, and this second aircraft is now being offered in the market for ad-hoc charter operations.
