May 30, 2014 (newstodate): Jet Time Finland Oy has now received its second aircraft on Finnish registry.
The Boeing 737-700 aircraft landed in Helsinki on May 27 and was re-registered on May 28, 2014, now operating alongside its sister aircraft on charter flights to Turkey for Finnish tour operators.
Managed by Kitt Suhr Hansen, the Jet Time Oy team comprises 35 staff, 25 of which are leased from Jet Time Denmark, and as the company matures the Danish staff will be replaced by locally recruited employees.
Jet Time Oy was established in March 2014 to allow the Danish charter and ACMI carrier Jet Time to perform flights to Turkey for Finnish tour operators as the Turkish authorities require carriers to fly into the country only if they have an own license and AOC issued by the country of departure.
