May 14, 2014 (newstodate): Havas Europe has signed a new airline customer at Riga Airport, in Latvia.
New on the list is UTAir Ukraine launching traffic on the route between Kiev Zhuliany Airport and Riga from March 30, 2014.
The carrier is now offering a daily flight using ATR-72-500 aircraft and adding fresh competition to airBaltic that has served the route for years.
In April 2010, the Turkish ground handling company Havas bought 50 percent of the shares in North Hub Services, established in 2009 by the Latvian company Baltijas Aviacijas Sistemas.
North Hub Services consequently changed its name to Havas Europe from December 15, 2011.
Besides Riga Airport, Havas Europe currently operates at Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin Tegel, Hamburg, Stuttgart and D�sseldorf airports in Germany.
Havas Europe provided service to approximately 50,000 flights in 2013.
