May 05, 2014 (newstodate): The Finnair Group has sliced off ownership of three Embraer E-170 aircraft.
The Group has inked an MoU with the US company Infinity Aviation Capital LLC that will take in the three aircraft and place them with Aeroliteral Mexico that already operates four aircraft of this type.
Two of the three aircraft are currently operated by Kenya Airways on a four-year contract with Finnair expiring in June 2014.
Originally operating a fleet of 10 E-170 aircraft, Finnair now has four Embraer E-170 on a sub-lease contract with Estonian Air expiring in 2015, three are flying for flyBe Nordic - and the last three are now heading for Mexico.
