May 13, 2014 (newstodate): The Baltic cargo GSA, AirProxy is growing its coverage of the three Baltic markets with new contracts.
Effective from May 1, 2014, AirProxy is named cargo GSA for both Singapore Airlines Cargo and SAS Cargo in all three Baltic markets - Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania.
Till now, AirProxy has been serving these carriers only in the Estonian market.
AirProxy has its HQs at Tallinn, in Estonia, operating an own office also in Riga, Latvia.
-The volumes generated by the two carriers do not by themselves justify the immediate opening of a new AirProxy office in Vilnius, Lithuania, so sales in the Lithuanian market will be managed by our Latvian office, says Maanus Matlik, AirProxy managing director.
-I am now visiting Lithuanian agents to learn about their preferences and requirements in order to secure an efficient service in sales on Singapore Airlines Cargo and SAS Cargo, but I do not foresee the opening of an own office here in the short term.
-We will focus our efforts towards attracting more new airline customers in the Lithuanian market to build up the volumes to the point where establishing ourselves with an office in Vilnius makes sense, says Mr Matlik
