May 08, 2014 (newstodate): Airfreight volumes declined at Estonia's Tallinn Airport during the first four months of 2014.
A total of 1,589 tonnes of cargo and mail was handled at the airport, down 11.4 percent, y-o-y.
The decline was due to a fall by 14 percent in the airport's cargo volumes, down to 5,139 tonnes during January-April 2014.
In the positive direction pulled the airport's mail volumes that increased by 18.9 percent to 597 tonnes.
In 2013, the airport handled a total of 20,941 tonnes of cargo and mail, down 12.5 percent, y-o-y.
