May 19, 2014 (newstodate): As in 2013, Air Canada is adding capacity to its route between Toronto and Copenhagen Airport during the coming summer season 2014.
The carrier will thus increase frequencies from the current six weekly rotations to daily flights and replace the Boeing 767-300 aircraft with larger Airbus A330-300 capacity.
Serving the carrier as cargo GSSA in the four Nordic markets is HWF.
-Filling the Airbus A330 on daily flights during the summer season is indeed a challenge, but results were very positive in 2012 and we expect a similar performance this summer as well, says Simon Campostrini, WHF Denmark Sales Manager.
-Exports from Denmark and the other three Nordic countries are primarily destined for the Canadian market, comprising a wide range of commodities from medico products to for instance textiles and general consumer goods.
-As Air Canada is online in Denmark, the bulk of the volumes are naturally originating here, but contributions from Sweden, Norway and Finland generated by HWF sales in these markets are also important and adding to the very satisfactory over-all performance, says Mr Campostrini.
