Apr 04, 2014 (newstodate): The Russian carrier Centre-South Airlines has now taken delivery of its second Sukhoi Superjet 100
The first aircraft to the carrier was delivered on March 21, 2014, and both aircraft will be operated by Center-South Airlines for the Russian tour operator Atlas Jet.
The first customer took delivery of the Superjet 100, now-defunct Armavia in 2011.
Today, the Superjet 100 is operated by five Russian carriers including Aeroflot, Yakutia, Moskovia, Gazprom Avia and Center-South, as well as by three foreign carriers Interjet in Mexico, Sky Aviation in Indonesia and Lao Central in Laos.
In total, the Superjet 100 has performed more than 27,000 commercial flights accumulating over 40,000 flight hours.
Orders have been placed for a total of 284 aircraft, with options for a further 107.
