Warsaw Chopin Airport was clearly the leader in the air cargo industry with a total of 77,986 tonnes of which 62 percent was actually lifted by air, while 18 percent was transported by Road Feeder Services.
Mail volumes accounted for 21 percent of the total volumes at the airport.
Second largest in cargo volumes, but far below the capital airport, was Katowice Airport with 10,877 tonnes, all transported by air and including eight percent mail shipments.
Over-all, road feeder services contribute some 30 percent of all air cargo in and out of Poland
