Apr 07, 2014 (newstodate): The new Turkish/Ukrainian carrier Atlasjet Ukraine, based at Lviv Airport, has high ambitions for growth.
The carrier has been set up by the Turkish Arline Atlasjet and Ukrainian partners and is managed by its co-owner Sergei Podgorodetsky as CEO.
From the start, the airline will have three Airbus A320 aircraft, two of which will be based at Lviv Airport, but plans are to grow the fleet to 10 aircraft in 2015 already.
Pending the granting of its AOC, the airline aims to perform its first commercial flight in May 2014, offering domestic and international flights from Kiev, Lviv and Donetsk.
