Apr 29, 2014 (newstodate): A Swedish virtual airline, Fly Olympic is preparing for start of the first direct flight connection from Sweden to Somalia.
The launch flight is planned for June 6, 2014, and will start out from Stockholm to Entebbe, in Eritrea, continuing to Mogadishu, in Somalia.
Fly Olympic is to start a similar route from London Gatwick, and in both cases the aircraft will fly via Amman, in Jordan.
Flights will be operated by Jordan Aviation with Boeing 767-200ER aircraft, and Fly Olympic will be responsible for all passenger and cargo sales in Sweden, the United Kingdom, Eritrea and Somalia.
