Apr 15, 2014 (newstodate): The Latvian carrier airBaltic has announced another new destination in its coming winter season 2014/15.
New on the map is Poprad in Slovakia, to be served under a three-year agreement with a weekly flight using Boeing 737-300 aircraft from Riga starting from December 13, 2014, and closing again by the start of the summer schedule.
Primarily intended to serve the tourism segment, the new route will also offer connections between the two cities and beyond to airBaltic's destinations in the Baltic region, Scandinavia, Russia and the CIS countries.
