Apr 09, 2014 (newstodate): Kazakhstan is aiming at liberalizing its air services agreements with EU member states.
As a first start, Kazakhstan and Luxembourg have launched the process towards signing an agreement allowing any airline to operate freely between the two areas on the basis of EU legislation.
Kazakhstan already has air services agreements with most EU member states, but the new agreement will be the first to fully adhere to EU legislation, successively replacing the existing bi-lateral agreements.
